I keep making the mistake, when I'm going back to school, of calling school home.

For example: "The bus leaves to take me home at 8:30. I mean, back to school."

I always try and correct myself as soon as I say it, because where I am now is not home. As much as people (parents) want me to act like it's home, it never will be.

I guess I'll just keep correcting myself. What bothers me, though, is why I continuously make the error of calling school "home" in the first place.
