I killed it at open mic tonight, confidence level has been boosted. My first solo gig tomorrow. All mine, for an hour and a half. $50. And a sandwich. I'm a musician.

I was all systems go for three weeks of touring with The Venetia Fair. Then Kyle called tonight and left a message about some shows in July. My heart is obviously with my boys, but I need money, and I need to play.

We'll see if there's even a conflict. Maybe I'll do both. Wouldn't that be something?
