K gave me a point-and-shoot for Christmas. I just looked at it for a second, confused. I don't know how to accept a gift, it's something I've never understood, even though I keep thinking that I understand it.

She said she got it for me because I don't take pictures anymore, because my DSLR is too bulky to carry around everywhere.

I told her it's not because the DSLR is too big, it's because I just stopped seeing things that I wanted to photograph. It felt weird to say it out loud.
