Sam is the closest thing I've had to a brother since I left home. Not in the sense of "BRAH I LOVE YOU" but in the sense of this unconditional presence at two o'clock in the morning for a talk, and when he's too tired he just says goodnight and closes his door.

He's like a brother in that we could separate and, after any time interval, come back to one another, and it would be the same.

He's a good and loyal friend and the fact that we could go our separate ways at any time doesn't change that at all.
